When the pandemic hit & high school was off - I started learning and then freelancing web development services
3 years later - I just finished an internship @Bloomberg and surviving my last year of uni pursuing a Computer Science Bachelor Degree at @Babeș-Bolyai University.

Software Engineering Intern @Bloomberg

• Uncertified production changes required a lot of manual toil from developers and managers, I worked on automating these changes making them standardized and autoapproved.
• With around 1000 deployments/year, this saves the company 1h/deployment.
• Continued to work on integrating the above project into one of the deployment systems in Bloomberg.
• Worked in an Agile environment. Hosted presentations to share the knowledge gained as I was working with technologies new to the team.
• Exposed to: Python, C++, TypeScript, Docker, Staged and Blue/Green deployments, comdb2.

Software Developer @DutyVentures

• Built the MVP for Highway6 and explained to the client all the software decisions I had made, then assisted with the architecture of the application to add more features and complexity. The app is an online audio conference product, similar to Clubhouse.
• Self-managed effectively during the first stage of the web app and collaborated later on as part of a productive team.
• The most complex project was Gaudium: a podcast web app where the client could post their videos to the community, providing the possibility of changing the content from the admin panel.
• Built the company website using HTML/CSS/JavaScript and the company blog using Jekyll.
• Exposed to: Ruby on Rails, Express, Node.js on the backend, and React.js on the frontend. Deployment with Hereroku.

• Participated for 4 years in FTC, a global robotics competition that aims to form a strong community of students in STEM fields.
• Led the team for two years and earned the highest award in the competition. Oversaw and managed 20 STEM students.
• Coordinated and planned objectives with my colleagues. Delegated and review tasks, and trained beginner students. Communicated our progress weekly with the team mentor.
• Currently mentoring the team and being an active participant in FTC events and communities.
• Worked on robot prototyping, 3D robot design, and robot programming. Improved robot autonomous movement and created an innovative arm system to achieve our high-reach goal.

• Worked in a team of 4 students to develop an app in less than 48 hours.
• Built a food ordering web app where restaurants could sell the surplus food, daily, at lower prices - instead of throwing it, to combat food waste.

2019 | First Tech Challenge Dean’s List Finalist Award | Global Championship, Detroit, USA
